The South Country School District Music Department recently hosted a successful stuff-a-bus fundraiser to support their Music in the Parks trip. Over the past several weeks, the music students worked to collect enough clothing and household items to fill a minibus. All of the donations will be sent to Go Green Long Island, a recycling company that specializes in recycling gently used clothing and household items to benefit individuals and families in need. As part of the fundraiser, the company provides funding to the music department for the collections.
