During its May 22 meeting, the South Country Board of Education recognized Frank P. Long Intermediate School teacher Kaitlyn Cutrone for securing a $21,000 New York State Connect Kids grant that allowed the entire fifth grade class to participate in a unique experience at Wild Play at Jones Beach at no cost to the district. For her hard work, Cutrone was presented with a certificate of recognition.
