Universal Pre-K Program

The South Country Central School District anticipates providing a Universal  Pre-K program during each academic year. To be eligible, students must reside within the geographic boundaries of our school district and must be four (4) years old on or before December 1st of the school year during which the child commences the program. Additionally, each year the District must collaborate with an outside agency in educating additional District students who qualify for UPK services.


2017-2018 School Year

For the 2017-2018 School Year, the District’s Universal Pre-K Program is being offered at Brookhaven Elementary School and Bellport Methodist Pre-School, in partnership with Bellport United Methodist Church.  The program operates on half day sessions 5 days a week from September through June. The Full-day (5 Hours) program will be held at HeadStart. There are 20 seats available and selection will be done by lottery on August 1st.
